The title of the blog is "JCPL On The Road", a bit ironic huh?

For the first time in thirty-five years, there is no "On The Road", but, that doesn't mean that work has stopped. In fact, were we on the road, it would probably have been more difficult to find time to blog, but, it's started, let's see how long I can keep it up 😍

We are still very much booking and preparing for when live music returns, today new shows for Zal Cleminson's great new band - Orphans Of The Ash - were booked, plus we continued with the rescheduling of The Warner E. Hodges Band's tour, with dates now being moved from November 2020 to May / June 2021. Warner is chomping at the bit to be able to play the album live and now wonder, it's the best thing he's done to date under the Warner Hodges banner. Check it out: soundcloud.com/mipps1961/sets/the- warner-e-hodges-band-just-feels-right and if you want an introduction, check out this great video put together by Joe Blanton.

We also worked on new online merchandise for Danny Vaughn (see photo) and Gin Annie and finished putting the final touches to the brand new JCPL website, where you are no doubt reading this. Many thanks to Trudi Knight and Joe Blanton for all their help with the site.

Finally, we finalised the distribution deal with Proper for Jim Kirkpatrick's new album "Ballad Of A Prodigal Son". You may already know Jim through his work with FM, Bernie Marsden, Thea Gilmore and Rhino Edwards.
